I have set up the web access and a Buffalo telephone support guy told me he could access my shared folder. I have had others also try from their home and business PCs - works. However, I am currently trying to access my LS Pro Duo from a school network and I cannot. What is access dependant on? Can certain networks prevent this kind of access, thinking it is a security risk?

Thx,

Martin

The school might have a firewall up or port blocking.

OK... so how can I tell and what can I do about it?

Go to canyouseeme.org and it will check to see if that port is open.  If the port is blocked or there is a firewall the only way to know about it is by asking IT.
