My LS421DE has a pair of 4TB drives installed in RAID 1 configuration. They're now nearly full.
All the documentation I have found suggests that 4TB drives are the largest drives that can go into the 421DE.
Has anyone successful put larger drives in, e.g. 6TB or 8TB drives?
Thanks

I would guess 16TB is the largest array the device can use, since it has a 32bit cpu.  So two 8TB drives probably will work, I have not tried it though.

I have used two 5TB drives in that series before, and it formatted to 10TB for RAID 0.

Try some test disks, they'll probably work.

Watch the power requirement for the drives. The device can handle 48w (minus what the board uses) but more power=more heat which can be a problem.
