I have a securelockwared Buffalo drive
I had it setup and working fine, then I reformatted my computer.
Then I downloaded slw and then plugged my harddrive in and fallowed the directions the program told me but it still will not detect my harddrive and unlock it.
It has become quite frustrating because I deal with this every **bleep** time I reformat my computer, I cant remember what I usually do to get it to work but...

I install the app
I run drive configuartion
I then connect the drive and allow it to power up then I hit ok
Then I disconnect it then reconnect it
then hit ok
Then nothing happens and when I go and click unlock it doesnt detect my drive

Someone please help, I literally had it working earlier today before reformat, some reason they crapped up the most basic part of the installation and made it so it didnt auto-detect drives that are obviously attatched if windows is seeing them

I cant do anything without the files on my HD so please help

make sure you're using the back USB ports (if it's a desktop). Disconnect all USB devices except mouse and keyboard. Start with the drive disconnected and boot up the system. After it boots up fully, attach the drive and try to recognize it with the SLW software
