Does Resetting Password Format Drives in LS220DE?

Howdy All!

Thanks in advance for the answer to my question.  I have an NAS LS220CE with 2 x 1TB drives in.  I need to reset the password on it.

Does resetting the password on a LS220DE cause any loss of data to the HHDs in it?  I imagine no, but I can't afford to get this wrong.
