Linkstation Pro Duo + SBS 2008

Hello,

 

I have a Linkstation Pro Duo model LS-WTGL/R1-V3  with F/W 3.03 firmware.

 

I would like to know if and when this will be able to connect to a Microsoft Small Business 2008 network?

 

I have tried the other methods to connect to it, but I really need the security of the ADS integration.

Just thought I would check to see if there is any updated news on the Linkstation Pro Duo being supported in a Microsoft Small Business Server 2008 (SBS2008) enviroment?

 

You guys are really missing a great opportunity here, I have several clients that could use this device on their networks, but they need the AD integration for SBS 2008.

 

Can you tell me if it is even on the road map or not?  If not, then I need to move on to a different product or model.  Do you have one that is supported in SBS 2008?

With the latest firmware, it should connect to a Server 2008 AD environment. I'm not sure about SBS, you may need to disable digital SMB packet signing on the server.

Is there some way it can be confirmed that it is supported with Microsoft Small Business Server 2008 Active Directory?  I was in the middle of a full migration from 2003 to 2008 when I found out that it was not supported.  I really do not want to go through this again with my client and have them get upset if it fails again.

 

I love the product, but SBS 2008 is a must.
