This post is in addition to not being able to access my NAS. I've been backing the data on the NAS onto a USB drive attached to it. when i attach that drive directly to my computer there is no recognizable format on the drive, i.e. no NTFS. i want to get the data off the USB drive. can anyone suggest how to do that being that i think the NAS is bricked. Do you think if i purchase another NAS and attach the drive to it that will work? i was able to see the data on the drive when this NAS was working.
