Hi, bought this nas device few weeks back, keep getting intermittent issues.

my laptop runs ms vista business 32 bit. 

 

When accessing the drive, sometimes it will transfer 100MB data in no time, other times the window showing all the sahred folders takes ages to appear and times out.

ive upped the firmware to the latest, but still the same.

 

using my wifes XP laptop, no problems at all, and it seems a lot quicker copying files.

 

Im also eligable for win7 once its realeased and want to move onto that, so far from reading other posts, ive read i might have to change the local security settings, any one else experiencing this or any win 7 issues?

   Im using win7 with multiple Tera and linkstations, both wired and wirelessly. No problems what so ever. Faster transfer rate in 7 than vista on the same wireless latop actually.
