The Drivesation Flexnet does NOT support Time Machine.

 

There is some configuration required in the NAS drives to make this work, features this drive does not have.

 

If you want to use time machine with this drive, you have to attach it directly via usb and format it into HFS+ which would kill your network functionality on the drive.

   I do not want to use this with Time Machine, all I want is to be able to read and write files to the device over WiFi.

From what I've read around the web, very few NAS devices are working with Snow Leopard.  I think I'm going to return this device till something is confirmed to have worked.
