Greetings all,

I bought a half terabyte TeraStation model HD-HTGLCB9 as they were discontinued. (a few years back)

It has been wonderful. I keep all my photos, music, files, etc. on it.

The other day, drive one indicated a problem with a solid red light. After rebooting the box, it now has four flashing drive lights, a flashing diag light, all flashing at the same speed, about once a second and the web interface is now in Chinese.

The device is no longer available on the network.

Any thoughts or suggestions?? At a minimum, I really need my data! This is in a RAID 5 configuration.

Thanks

Ron

Sounds like you need to replace drive one.  Just replace it and restructure the array.

Very cool, if that's all it is, I'm set.

I didn't know that a single drive failure would take down the whole devic.

Thanks

Ron
