Hi, I have a terastation ES - TS-XEL/R5  that shows in the display TFTP MODE E06: Lost boot image... Is there a way to get it up and running again????

I know this thread is as old as the hills, but to be honest I am heartbroken that my lovely old NAS's disks have given up the ghost.
Have in the past recovered the the boot image, but sadly no longer have the tftp program and more importantly the rom images to upload.
Downloaded the latest firmware 1.72, which is not a lot of good if you cannot even connect to it without the boot image.
Anyone have the TFTP program and correct image for this NAS?

Mine is an TS-XEL/R5

Regards Drift.

The TS-XEL can be restored using this process:

You can use the same boot files extracted for that process to recover via TFTP as well (using pretty much any TFTP utility).
