Access 2002 Won't connect to Link Station

Access 2002

LINK STATION MODEL LS-W1OTGL/R1

 

I have been using Access 2000 until Access developed a problem. I had lost my installation cd so I had to purchase Access 2002 to replace Access 2000.

 

Now when I try to access a database on the Link Station using Access 2002, I get the following message:

 

"This file is located outside your intranet or on an untrusted site. Microsoft access will not open the file due to potential security problems. To open the file, copy to your local machine."

 

Any suggustions?

This has been resolved. (Putting "link station" in the intranet zone of windows explorer)

   @Bill1168, Thanks for the info, I'm sure this is bound to help others. As a side note ,you can also modify your Intranet Zone security settings via control panel Internet -> security (think you can also get here via Internet Explorer properties -> security). You can simply reduce your Intranet security settings accordingly. Keep in mind for business networks, may be limited on what you can get away with long term, so verifying your 'trusted' resources on your network will also work. Kudos @ Bill1168 for posting his fix/workaround!
