Admin password no longer working.

I currently have a LS220D Linkstation. After adding a test user through the wizard and removing him through the advanced settings, I no longer have admin access. No changes have been made to change the password of the admin account. When I try to login as admin, I receive the following error:

User authentication failed.

Any help is appreciated.

Try resetting the unit using the function button: Press and hold the function button while unit is off, switch the 220 on, keep holding until function LED blinks, release function button then press it again for a second.

I tried this a few times. This is also what their tech support suggested. It did not do anything.
