I have a LS220. I am creating and copying folders through FTP over the internet. The folders appear on my SMB mapped drive in my local network, but they look empty even though they look like they actually take disk space.

Does anyone know how should I copy folders that are on another LAN to my LinkStation over the internet using FTP? Did I setup something wrong?

Which windows version are you using? Are the files showing via SMB after a reboot of the PC? Is SMB2 active on the Linkstation?
