Hi - I was interested in seeing if it's possible to install a iTunes streaming interface (called nasTunes) for NAS drives on the LS Quad. From reading some info on the web this seems doable, but not sure.

In order to install I need to be able to:

1) Enable php on the Quad

2) copy the nasTunes files to the root directory of the LS Quad

Also, I'm not sure that the buffalonas access will work with this program, but can't get past this initial part.

You cannot install any software onto LS. I believe that nasTunes is an application for iPhones/iTouches and I am not personally sure if that is compatible with the LS, but this device does not support PHP scripts.

The nasTunes is software installed on a php enabled NAS, it's not an iPhone app, in the sense that it does not install anything on the iPhone.  I thought I had read that the LS has Apache (for the interface) and that php could be enabled.  Thanks,  John

I see, unfortunately Buffalo does not support the installing of third party software on there NAS devices.
