Hi all, I'm aiming to own a Buffalo nas for home use (a Linkstation 520 or a Terastation 1200), for replace an homemade Nas4Free machine, basically not because I'm unhappy of N4F, but for reducing the electrical consumption.
But until now I've restrained myself  from purchase, for a lack of some services that in my humble opinion nowadays shouldn't be missed.
1 - Rsync. Why is not present in 2018?  :(
2 - a free alternative to DropBox/GDrive/OneDrive, etcetera. For example, Syncthing or NextCloud.

Thank you for your attention.

Hello, and thank you for the link. However, is not properly a solution that everyone can easily manage... reading the article, it's clearly showed how is a partial workaround for skilled people.
Services as rsync and ssh should be activated with a mouse click from webgui. Also for the basic setup of these services a graphic interface would be appreciated. Buffalo needs to improve in this field for reduce the gap from other nas vendors.
