I have set up a web server on my Terastation, and all is working ok if I use the ip address and port 81 as the URL.

However I would like to access it using the url of the site I am developing e.g. http://my-new-site.com to enable me to fully test a site before uploading it to my hosting site.

I thought I could do this by making an entry in the 'hosts' file e.g. 192.168.xxx.yyy:81   my-new-site.com, but it doesn't work.

Can this be done? I only want access on the LAN, not externally.
