Is there anyway to see how much memory is installed in my Teraserver TS5400R using the UI? I know I only have 2GB because I saw it in the boot screen with a monitor attached.
Must be an easier way, hoping, through the UI.
I have another TeraServer in the basement and would like to see how much is in the unit.
Thanks,
Garu

Typically the amount of memory in a given TeraStation is the same for all units and should be listed in the user manual, available on the buffalo website.

Thank you.  My Qnap has a control panel you can use to find out so I was hoping, maybe, the Terastation would have a similar screen.
Thanks again,
Gary

Would I be able to upgrade to, say, 4GB, or even 8GB of memory?

Most TeraStations aren't designed for memory upgrades, but it may be possible. However, unlike some other units with a myriad of installable software options, the OS on a TeraStation is "closed". Due to this it is unlikely that a memory upgrade will provide a significant performance improvement.
