Hi All,

I've found threads on how to replace/upgrade a single Hard Drive (in case of failure or upgrade), but how does one go about replacing all four hard drives at once? My system came with 4 x 1TB HDDs and I'm replacing with 4 x 4TB HDDs to give myself more storage space, but how do I do this? If I take all four out at once and replace with new ones there won't be any firmware on them to run the system.

Thanks in advance.

Follow these steps:

Delete the existing RAID array
Replace 3 drives (not drive 1)
Format the new drives
replace drive 1
format drive 1
create a new RAID array
