Hello,

After some terrible rain this afternoon I came home and noticed my Linkstation LS-CHL NAS was not on.  The power plug was connected to a surge protector but for some reason it won't start up.  I've even tried to plug the unit into another outlet which is working fine but no luck.  I don't understand how my cable modem and monitor (laptop was powered off) were working fine but the wireless router (d-link) and NAS are dead.  Everything is connected to a surge protector...APC computer surge protector.

Is there anyway I can get this NAS back up and running?

Please help!!!

Thank you

PCPiranha

If it is not getting power at all you probably won't be able to get the LS up and running again.  The data is probably unharmed, however, so the normal data recovery options will be available (UFS explorer and data recovery services).  If it is still within warranty you can call surropt for a replacement.
