External Drive Crashed, Now Read as Different Model

My Buffalo Ministation Stealth, has randomly crashed on me in the middle of working. Files on it would not run, and now it is unrecognized by my mid 2013 Macbook Air running OS X Sierra. Also, my 500GB ministation is shown to be a completely different 2.2TB external hard drive named BUFFALO HD-PCTU2 Media. I have been unable to retrieve any information from the drive using any tools. Disk Utility first aid will not do anything, it shows up as nothing being wrong with the drive unless I boot up into Mac Utility and go to disk utility, which shows it as a failed boot with the error com.apple.diskmanagement error -69874.

While I would love to recover my missing data, when I tried to give up hope and just wipe my drive, I receive an error message stating "Unable to write to the last block of the device." leaving this drive completely un-usable. After booting the drive, it makes a series of whirs and beeps while lit up, before becoming completely quiet as the error message "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer" shows up. The light stays on for the entire time the drive is plugged in. All of this started happening in the middle of the use of a file on the drive, which crashed and then wouldn't start up again

Faulty HDD, if it's still in warranty then get a replacement through Buffalo, if not then buy a new HDD.
