On my LS-CHLEA8, how can I reinitialize to default admin and password and not lose my stored data??

**A single copy of data, even on a RAID array, is NOT a backup! Hard drive failure is not a question of IF, but WHEN! Don't take my word for it, take Google's!**

I had already tried that process three times.  At the end it requested a password.  Putting in admin, password was rejected as were all my other "guesses".  Should I keep trying a dozen more times??

I have an LS-GL108 there IS NO function button. I tried holding in the reset button both while it is powering up and after it has powered up (waited until it started beeping at me and then released); but it still will not accept admin/password combo as listed in the 'Support' screens.

Any other way to force the admin/password reset and/or reinitialization of the NAS??
