TS-X4.0 TL/R5 TeraStation TS-XL262 will not shut down

I have a TS-X4.0 TL/R5 TS-XL262 and just recently I found that when I press the shutdown button on the front of the unit the terastation does not shutdown but go into snooze zzzz mode!
I have checked the sleep mode which is not enabled. The unit is in manual mode not automatic so I cannot understand why it does not shutdown! The only way to shut it down is to pull the plug! Obviously this is not desirable! Can anybody help??

Disable wake on lan on the admin page.
