Can't Flash Firmware - Cloudstation - Faulty Unit or Faulty User?

Hi,

I recently replaced 2 faulty drives within my Cloudstation NAS that was working fine.  I then started to get the dreaded 6 flashes showing firmware damage.  Despite following the instructions given to me by the Buffalo Tech team I am not able to get past the Requesting Access line in the TFTP boot application.

Buffalo Tech are saying that it is a comms/hardware issue and nothing further can be done, but I have seen quite a few users with similar issues.  I have tried their solutions - different PC, etc but no luck.  Has anyone got any pearls of wisdom that might solve the problem.

The TFTP boot screen shows it is listening on the right ports, I have disabled firewall/defender, the lights are flashing next to the Ethernet port, I have completed removed all partitions on the drives, incl the GPT partition - but I don't know what I am missing.

Having just spent £140 buying 2 new drives, I don't want to spend £100 on a new enclosure unless all possibilities to flash the firmware have been exhausted.

Many thanks
