We had a fire in our home. The box containing all the documentation and the password was either destroyed or thrown away. Now I cannot get to the data on the drive. Is there a way to reset the password without deleting the data. The instructions I have found online for this unit say turn it off and turn it on while pressing the function button. There is no power button or function button on the device. So I am at a loss as to what they're talking about.
