My LinkStation LS-250GL has been on my network for years without issue.  The folders/data and mapped drives are still accessible, but the Navigator does not find the unit itself.  Even though the Navigator app is allowed through the security/firewall, I disabled both to test and no change.  Odd.  Any thoughts?

If you can access the shares and admin page then I guarantee you 100% that you have some sort of security software blocking the application. You say the app "is allowed" though the firewall but there is still something blocking it.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
