I have had ongoing wireless connection issues with this Buffalo product and even had it replaced once. I am once again trying to connect with this unit and it is also telling me it is in "emergency mode" and requesting a firmware update. Is there any kind of work around so i can access the device to provide the firmware update? I am sorry I ever bought wireless. I ought have bought only a hardware version back when. That said, is there anyway for me to convert this unit to a hardwire device and get the firmware updated? Thanks for any and all help. If I have to pull the harddrives and junk the unit I will, but please let me know what product I should buy even if it isn't a Buffalo product.
