RAID is not a replacement for a backup! Here's why.

Replacing all four 1TB drives with 2TB drives

I need to replace all four drives in a LS-QL/RS. The original array had 4-1TB drives in it as a RAID 5. 2 drives failed so as long as I'm replacing them, I wanted to install larger drives in all 4 positions. This a very NOT straightforward operation, I take it
If I go to Settings for the drives through NAS Navigator 2 and log in, I don't get the normal settings menu that allows me to get to disk management. All I can see is a short menu with "Home", "User Management" and a "Logout" choice. Is there a procedure I can follow to replace the drives and get this back up and running? Two of the original 1TB drives are still OK, but I'm not sure how to get the boot partitions off of the old drives and onto a new one in order to create a new RAID. NAS Navigator is showing an error that drives one and two have failed to mount. Drive 3 is the same as drives 1 & 2 as far as size and type and formatting. Drive 4 is the old 1TB drive with the (I assume) boot software partition(s).

What do I need to do to get this operational again?

When I do get into the full settings mode, I can't do anything. I get the message that "Currently a Format or Disk Check is being carried out." and all of the menu options are locked. It's been in this mode for days. Letting it sit over the weekend and opening the settings page or restarting the array do nothing. Three of the new drives are unformatted and it can't mount them. Well, DUH! That's why I'm trying to get into the settings in order to do just that. Right now this thing is just a brick with pretty lights. I'd like to actually use it for what it was designed to do.
