I've followed the instructions in the Buffalo Linkstation manual for my LS-CH1.0 to reset the password and user to defaults but it does not work. I press and hold the function button when switching to "on" and then press the function button one more time (I've also tried holding the function button down for 10 seconds and then pressing the function button for 1 second while it's still blinking as I've seen recommended online). It still says "incorrect password" - supposed to default to "admin" and "password". I have a lot of important data on the drive and it's frustrating not being able to access it. I did see a similar topic where after following instructions, someone from BUFFALO had a software solution but the link provided is no longer good.

Any solution is much appreciated. Thank you.
