Cannot install LS Pro Duo, Mac OS X

Hi, I get the following problems trying to install my LS Pro Duo on OS X 10.5.6 (and 10.5.7):

 

1. After following the onscreen setup instructions, it says setup is completed successfully, BUT

 

(a) on my iMac, when Setup connects to it after I select 'Next', I get an alert saying 'Failed to authorize password' (what password?  I never set one). I don't get the two files created on the desktop, one being the text file with the settings.

(b) on my MacBook Pro, it fails to detect the drive. The firewall settings are identical on both Macs.

 

2. on the iMac, when I run NASNavigator 2 for the first time, I get an alert saying the date is incorrect, and I can't update the date.  Pressing cancel works after several tries.

 

On the iMac I can access the drive OK.  Web access doesn't work.  On the MacBook Pro I can't see it of course.

Hello, sorry about the delay.

As far as installation goes, The only real utility you need (which in itself is optional) is the Nasnavigator software

once the device is up and running on your network, you'll need to map to it.

You can do this by going to Go>connect to server>and typing 'smb://ipaddress' and hitting 'connect'

At this point you should see the 'info' and 'share' folders, simply click on the 'share' and it will then be accessible.

 

If you're having problems setting up the NasNavigator utility, trying downloading the mac installer off our website, it will be available under the 'downloads' section after you select your product.

As far as webaccess goes, make SURE that you open up port 9000 on your router. Otherwise theres no way that anyone would be able to access it remotely.
