Mrs RA

I have a TX-X4.OTL/RS which has one or MORE failed HD(s).  I will be able to buy replacements tomorrow at the nearest store which is 80+ miles one way.

The HDs in it are Samsung HD103SI (SO)s (4) must I purchase a specific brand as long as all four are identical and are 1 TB?

Any help / suggestion(s) APPRECIATED!  I tried searching on the web site, but nothing helpful i.e. that I could understand.

THANKS!

Be WELL 'n be SAFE!

Any 1TB or larger SATA drives should work fine. You will need to delete the existing RAID array and create a new one, then restore the data from backup.

If you don't have a backup and need to recover the data, you'll need to contact a data recovery service. In the US Drive Savers will give Buffalo customers a 10% discount.
