Files corrupted on Linkstation Duo

Hi,

 

I had a incident with my Buffalo linkstation duo which has really knocked my confidence in it. I was accessing a file on the drive via my wireless network (linkstation connected directly to a router ) without any problems. when I next used my pc I had a message to say the link to the storage drive had been lost. I went back on via computer -> network location -> linkstation -> share but found that many of the files in the directory had somehow been corrupted - the titles were still there but they were showing as 0 bytes. Here is a sample from my VAT directory - note that a whole bunch of unreadable tmp files have been created - this is just a sample I have a whole number of directories which are similar but fortunately my photos and videos directories have not been affected.

I am sure that these have been mirrored so the originals have gone on both drives. Is this anyone else has experienced or knows how to resolve?

The .TMP files shown were all created by the system at the time. the original files in the folder are just those beginning in VAT (which became 0kb each after the failure).

Could you please tell me if buffalo managed to give you a solution to this as it has started happening with my TeraStation. Many thanks
