Replication Job

Hi All,

We currently have a TS5400R 12TB unit that has all of our backup data on it. We plan to add a larger 7000 series Terastation to our network to increase our capacity and general backup performance but wanted to check something first. We plan to get a 96TB unit and have two RAID 5 arrays on it. The first array would be 16TB and then the remaining space on the other array. We just need to be sure that we can use the replicate function from our TS5400R to replicate itself to the 16TB array on the 96TB unit we plan to purchase? Will that be possible or would we need to have matching equipment?

A 5400 should replicate to a 7000 without any issues.
