whr-300hp2d - need user name and password for web admin and ssh

hi, i just got a whr-300hp2d.

i have not done anything other than try to connect it to my windows 8 pc.

can someone tell the user name and password for the web interface?

can someone tell me the ssh incantation?

seems like it's admin and password for the web interface.

but admin and password get a login incorrect from telnet and a connection refused from ssh (with sshd enabled).

enabling ssh management does not seem to help.
