I've recently purchased 4 x 6TB Terastation III's to replace some another vendors units which continuously fail on us.

I've upgraded the firmware on all 4 units to 1.4 and one of the units will be used for ISO storage (through NFS) to our ESX 3.5U4 servers.

I've configured NFS as specified in the documentation, added the clients, enabled the ISO share as the NFS share however whenever I try and add the NFS storage to the ESX Host, I get the following error:

"Error during the configuration of the host: NFS Error: Unable to Mount filesystem:  The mount request was denied by the NFS server.  Check that the export exists and that the client is permitted to mount it."

We have not put the NAS on the domain.  Suggestions?

Set the NFS network address to the base subnet address of the clients.
