Hi guys

I seem to be having problems with my Terastation live and wanted to check with the experts before doing anything.

I have the terastation set up in Raid 5 on my home network. Copying data to the drive from my pc seems to be fine. The problem seems to be when I am streaming data to my popcornhour and my linktheater. It seems to stream ok for a while but then the video will just randomly pause and try to buffer. I noticed that when this happens the drive three status light on the terastation is lit.

The disk check utility in the web interface doesn't seem to tell me anything. Does this sound like the disk is faulty?

Its possible there could be a problem. You might want to buy a spare hard drive just in case. You could also try reseeding the hard drive in the unit.
