I have been using the subject drive in a NAS/RAID configuration and it's now having a problem.  I am unable to get to drives and the amber LED is flashing continuously.  If I try to shut down the drive, it says on and again the amber (orange?) LED flashes continuously.  Do users here have any suggestions that will not force me to loose any data from the disks?
Thanks, B

Davo -- I had not been using Nav Navigator (only web access for administration).  I loaded Navigator (OS X) and it is unable to see the server.  I am also no longer seeing the NAS on my network.  Thanks, B

What RAID mode were you using? What is the sequence of orange LEDs? there will be a number of flashes, pause, number of flashes and continuously repeated.

a little more information:

I have tried to reset using the FUNC button.  When I tried this, I had the blue LED for about 30 seconds then it went back to the continuous flashing LED (yellow/amber/orange).  The lights and the fan stay on continuously and never go off, regardless of what I try.  I am not seeing the device MAC anywhere on my network at this time.

Thanks, Bill

Davo -- I think that I set it up as RAID2 - however it has been a long time and I am currently unable to access the drive to confirm.  The LEDS (actually they may be green - the power continually flashes and the lower one (appears to have a sequence but I am having trouble getting it -- too fast).   Thanks, B

Sorry but there is no such thing as RAID2, either RAID0 or 1. If you're having issues counting the flashes then take a video and post a link (youtube or something like that).

Davo.  After I did the FUNC, left for awhile and I can now see the drive (although not the data yet).  I can see the NAS both via the web admin panel and via NAS Navigator2.  The drive is configured as RAID1 which is showing the following error on the web page:  An error was detected in the RAID Array.  Hopefully now that I can see the drive there is something that I can do to access the data (and likely move it elsewhere).  On the drive itself (following the FUNC reset) I now see: power (steady on, red upside down !, and the flashing lightening(?) icon.  B
