Can't connect, cannot find IP address or password?

   I'm a relatively new user and someone set up link station for me a few months ago, and had been working fine. After some problems with connecting to internet through DSL (AT&T) tech support reset password and had me change some settings to enable me to reconnect to internet, but have now lost connection to link station. I get error that says cannot find IP address or password is incorrect. I don't know how to change/fix either. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks...

What is the IP address showing in NAS NAVI?  If it is showing an IP address of 192 then what you want to do is go to Run and in the box put in \\ipaddress.  It will bring up your share folder.  Right Click on the Share folder and go to Map Network Drive.  Choose the drive letter that you wish and make sure the box is check for Reconnect after Log On.  Also what firmware version do you have?

Thanks very much for your response. The person that set this up for me somehow set is up without installing NAS Navigator on my main computer (macintosh) which is directly connected to Tera LinkStation. It is on my laptop however, which I connect with wirelessly. However, when I click on it all the fields including the IP address on blank. Fields are also greyed out and I am not able to type in any of them. The initial address I had did start with 192. if that helps. Any other suggestions?

You can download the NASNAVI on our website at buffalotech.com.  Go to support>downloads and select your product.  You should find the NASNAVI under utilities
