Hello,
I have an older Linkstation LS-V1.0TL.  It is configured with 4 shares and the largest share contains 610 GB of video files.   I also purchased a new Linkstation LS410D0301 not long ago and it has no files on it but i did create 4 shares to match the older drive.   I then started a backup on the LS-V1 telling it to backup the entire video share to a new share on the LS410.    The backup has been running for 60 hours now (it's still running) and the LS410 has 400 GB of data on it.  I am therefore assuming that it will be 33 more hours until it is finished.   I am also assuming that I am getting the following transfer speeds:

60 hrs = 400GB
1 second = .00185186 GB
1 second = 1.85186 MB
1 second = 14.81488 Mbps  (ie converted megabytes to megabits)

I think 14.8 Mbps is very slow.  What could be the problem?  Any help is appreciated.

PS - I am using a netgear GS108PE switch to connect the two NAS drives.  The switch is also showing gigabit connection lights on both NAS ports.

Thanks.
