Quick question, say I buy a new NAS and by chance it is not Buffalo.  Is there an issue transferring data to it from my Buffalo drive and how does one do so and how do I know the data was not corrupted in doing so?

I appreciate the help.

I just want to make sure my data is intact.

Why would there be an issue transferring from one NAS to another? Map both drive and transfer the data  -> Done. Or backup the data onto a USB disk on the LS, connect it into the new NAS and copy it onto it.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebsireland.com and we will get it fixed!

Have i helped you? Buy me a coffee as a thanks!

The thing that always confuses me when I ask is the question is I know that the LS uses some sort of language or whatever to run it?  You know what I mean ha ha!  Anyway, map both and then copy, simple.  However, how do I know all the data is good/transferred good?  I worry that maybe some data gets corrupted somehow?  Is this baseless?

Also, when you say USB, you mean any brand directly connected via USB to the LS I have?

I appreciate the help, I just want to make sure I don't goof up due t a lack of understanding.
