I was using NAS only to put my photo maybe 5 times in full year. So the NAS was shoot down all the time. The NAS was working on only maximum one day (if calculate hours). And suddenly failed one drive, the first one. It's strange, as I am using Hitachi Ultrastar hard drives as they have the smallest probability to fail. Today I bought completely new expensive hard drive WD RED nasable. Replaced my failed first disk. Pressed the button "restore raid drive". After 20 minutes of restoring process failed new drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. It can't be the coincidence.

And what I can't understand, if my remaining disk is almost empty (raid 1) why it says, that restoring will take several days? Why it can't copy 1 GB data from old disk to new disk and reenable the raid1.
