I have used Buffalo NAS for > 15 years and just purchased a new Linkstation 220.
I can not seem to delete (remove) requirement for a PW to access shared drives.

My back up program (Acronis) fails to log into the new shared BU folder as PW is not valid?
I have tried resetting the User name and shared folder PW to no avail.

I have the new folders set as mapped network drives and I can access them via Win7 file explorer.
Is there any way to completely remove ALL PW requirements for shared drives?  I am in an office setting and behind a firewall so no public access to worry about.
