So a drive went bad in my LS-QV8.0TL/R5 and I just replaced it with a similar drive (Seagate Barracuda, 2 TB 6.0 GB/s 7200 RPM). Booted it up, and the performed a firmware update (as that is what NAS Navigator instructed me to do when it detected the device).

I'm hard-wired to the NAS and started LSUpdated with Debug mode enabled, told it to do a force update and to change the DHCP configuration to be Auto DHCP. Originally it had a static IP of 192.168.100.149, my host computer has a similar IP 192.168.100.11 (or something). However, during the firmware push, I can't get past the flashing I25 indicator.

By chance did telling it to change the IP address now make it have a different IP than the host computer, so LS Update can't detect the communication anymore? Or is there a more serious issue going on? I've let it sit now for roughly 4 hours, and from other threads I've read, it sounds like it will continue to sit this way indefinitely. :(
