Hello, I would like to report this and would need help if possible.

I am using TS5200D and tried to join to our domain to get user settings from its Active Directory.
I could connect to it successfully, and 'Domain Users' became available, so I tried to use 'Domain Users' to manage users for our TS5200D.
After some trials, we decided not to use 'Domain Users' anymore, and set it back to 'WORKGROUP'.
However, when I try to create new users, TS5200D cannot allow me to use same IDs in the Active Directory/Domain Users even if now they are not available/existing in user list of TS5200D.
It seems that TS5200D has still those old IDs somewhere in the setting which we cannot see.

Does anyone has any idea to delete such old ID data inside of TS5200D?

Sincerely,

Mac

I would suggest resetting the unit from the GUI. Don't do the erase option, as that will take several hours. On the "Management" tab go to the "Restore/Erase" section and choose the option to initialize the TeraStation.
