HD-CELU2 ethernet transfer is slow....???!!!

Dear Bros, 

 

I encounter the following problem 

 

When transfer movie files HD-CELU2 ethernet transfer is slow (different is 30 mins compared to USB), however for text files it is **bleep** fast .

 

Can any kind bros enlighten me, please ?

What are your actual transfer speeds?  It will obviously be slower on the network as apposed to USB

Is it suppose to be faster using the ethernet cable isn't so ?

 

The connection is Buffalo HD-CELU2 to router to PC. I don't understand why i get erratic speed.

 

Ethernet:-

Individual text files takes less than 10s

Movie files takes about 40mins

 

USB:-

Individual text files takes around 4mins

Movie files takes about 10 mins.
