Hi,

I have a rented server located in the USA, I want to backup some of the server data daily to my Linkstation. I do not know how that can be done?

I am using a router [ZyXEL P-660HW-D1] and Linkstation is connected to my router with a private IP (192.168.255.4). I have managed to configure Linkstation and my router to have web access enabling portforward and i can access it through buffalonas.com. However, webaccess will not help in my cause. I want to have FTP access from my server to Linkstation, that I do not know how to do. I can use FTP from local network (intranet) but can't access it from other networks.

I have enabled FTP in Linkshation and ZyXEL router.

Can anyone help me here to get it working?

Thanks for your help in advanced.
