So i bought a LS.XL2.0 years ago and initially set it up and was able to connect, however i never actually stored any data on the unit. I have swapped 3 laptops in the past 2 years with my work and recently got an windows 8.1 laptop and again tried to hook up to my Buffalo station.  blue flashing light, seems like the firmware is gone, cannot connect. can someone give me instructions and the firmware to tftp my linkstation from windows 8.1?  Buffalo support was good for nothing other than telling me that yes i'm screwed go to forums, i literally have put nothing on this unit except for power it on which is frustrating.  not to mention the website, support, documents etc... horrible, the registration questions, wow, how arrogant...   I got directed to the forums for a blue flashing light.... you would think that is the easy part of their job..

anyone know how to tftp a new image on a ls.xl2.0?  i'd really like to try the unit i bought 2 years ago for file sharing..
oh, and i'm not just some complaining ignorant, i'm a very capable computer geek as that is how i make my living, and have for 20 years in the computer networking industry... very frustrating...

thanks
