Few issues with Terastation TS-RXL

Hi

I have just purchased a Buffalo Terastation TS-RXL and have a few issues which im hoping you guys may know how to resolve.

If I try making any changes to the settings for the email notification it takes absolutely ages with the message "Saving data" and then doesnt save or just never stops with that message and then I cant log back into the device without shutting it down by power button and back on again.

Also to try and solve this issue I thought I would do a reset so held the pin in when powered on and the device beeped and powered on with a orange lcd display screen and all came back on but the lcd went blue, it shows all disks as 0% when I know thats incorrect. If I scroll through the display then I get a few screens which just have "-----------" instead of ip address or raid array etc.

The device still functions normally as all shared drives are working and folders accessible and all data is still fine but im not sure whats going on with the lcd display and the correct info being displayed.

ok anyone?

I did a reset again but still same issue. the lcd screen still shows D1 0% D2 0% D3 0% D4 0% which I know is incorrect, also it was showing D3 Raid1 but for some reason it doesnt show it now as a raid setup even though if I log onto the web manager it shows all drives with correct percentage used and correct raid set up.

Any ideas??

Reset it via the admin page (system -> Restore/erase -> Restore Terastation)
