Hi, even though the unit was behind a surge protect, shortly after a power surge the unit went into EM mode. I've had this unit several years, no problems so far. Will Buffalo help me (paid is fine)? Or, is there a straight forward way to do this? The error message does indicate a firmware update is needed. I see it is supposedly on 192.168.1.64 but that doesn't respond in a browser from another PC on the same subnet.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
