We are getting an error on our Buffalo NAS:
  "I11: The bad sectors of disk 2 reaches emergency level. (204 4/06/03 21:22;54) "

When I pop off the front cover, I am unable to determine which is disk1 and which is disk2.  They are not labeled and no error light / indicator is above or below the drive bays.

Please advise.  Thanks!

Awesome. Thanks much, Davo!

Just curious, how is anyone supposed to determine this?

If they are the the original disks that came from the factory with the Linkstation then they will be numbered (see image), if the disks have been changed then they might not be numbered.
