Hi All,

Apologies if this has already been posted, but I am in need of some with a friends Terrastation, it is running 4x 250GB Samsung hard drives, I am not sure in what RAID configuration.

The issue is that when the terrastation is switched on it reaches the "loading kernel" passes the hard drive check without issue then gets stuck on " system now booting...." and that's it I will go past that point.

I have done some reading on the forums about EM Mode, but the appliance doesn't have any errors and theres no option to enter EM Mode

My immediate suspicions are that the Linux Kernel is corrupt, as this happens after an environment power failure.

So my question can i:
1. Reflash the firmware? My guess is this would need to be done via the serial connector if so how?
2. I believe the data is intact, would plugging it into a another terrastation work?

Thanks in advance

Regards,

Dan
